About Brea Oakes Photography Studio

Brea Oakes Photography Studio is a luxury boudoir photography studio located in downtown Kalamazoo, Michigan. We create an elevated, transformational experience designed to help women feel confident, empowered, beautiful, and seen.

We are growing and looking for a confident, driven, emotionally intelligent Sales + Client Experience Specialist to join our team.

This is not a traditional customer service position.

We are looking for someone who genuinely loves sales, has a sales background, knows how to build meaningful connections with people, and is confident guiding clients toward decisions.

About the Role

This is a part-time hybrid sales position that combines client sales, client experience, and booking support.

Your role will involve helping prospective clients take the next step and book their luxury experience, as well as guiding clients through their image reveal and ordering appointments after their session.

You will play an important role throughout the client journey, from the initial conversation through the final sale.

ResponsibilitiesClient Sales & Experience
  • Conduct client image reveal and ordering appointments
  • Guide clients through their images and available collections
  • Confidently present products, collections, and purchasing options
  • Build rapport and help clients make confident purchasing decisions
  • Handle questions and objections professionally and empathetically
  • Create an elevated, personalized client experience
  • Work closely with the photography and studio team to ensure a seamless experience
  • Meet and work toward individual and team sales goals
Booking & Lead Follow-Up
  • Take booking and consultation calls as needed
  • Follow up with prospective clients through calls, texts, and other communication channels
  • Build excitement around the Brea Oakes experience
  • Answer questions and help prospective clients determine whether the experience is the right fit for them
  • Confidently ask for the booking and collect deposits
  • Maintain accurate notes and information within the company CRM
  • Support the booking team during high-volume periods
  • Provide coverage for booking responsibilities when needed

Experience & Qualifications

Previous sales experience is strongly preferred.

Experience in any of the following areas is a plus:

  • Relationship-based sales

Photography experience is not required.

We will train the right person on our systems, products, client experience, and sales process. However, we are looking for someone who already has strong communication skills and a demonstrated ability or natural confidence in sales.

Schedule

This is a part-time position based in our downtown Kalamazoo studio.

The schedule may include a combination of:

  • Client ordering appointments
  • Booking calls
  • Lead follow-up
  • Studio support
  • Evening availability as needed

Saturday availability is required.

The ideal candidate will have flexibility and be comfortable moving between client-facing sales and booking responsibilities depending on the needs of the studio.

Compensation

Starting at $22 per hour, based on experience.

Opportunities for increased compensation and performance-based incentives may be available based on experience, results, and growth within the company.
