Capture the Details. Bring Automotive Products to Life.
We're looking for a detail-oriented Automotive Photography Specialist to help create high-quality visual assets that power automotive catalogs, websites, and customer-facing materials. This hands-on role combines photography, image editing, product handling, and studio operations to ensure every image meets the highest standards of quality and consistency.
Working within a warehouse-based photography environment, you'll play an important role in transforming automotive products into polished, professional visual content while supporting a fast-paced production workflow.
What You'll Do
  • Photograph automotive parts, accessories, and products for use in catalogs, websites, and other marketing materials.
  • Generate high-quality, photo-realistic product images that accurately represent products and brand standards.
  • Assist with studio setup, image capture sessions, and daily photography operations.
  • Import, edit, color-correct, and retouch images using Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.
  • Review digital assets to ensure they meet quality, consistency, and production standards.
  • Receive, prepare, scan, track, and stage products for photography.
  • Maintain organized file structures and workflows to meet production schedules and turnaround times.
  • Assemble and disassemble products and equipment as needed for photo shoots.
  • Cross-train on photography processes and provide backup support for other photography functions.
  • Support special projects and new initiatives as assigned.
  • Maintain photography equipment and assist with transportation between shoot locations when required.
  • Follow all warehouse safety procedures and help maintain a clean, organized work environment.

What Makes You a Great Fit
  • Strong background in digital photography, including composition, lighting, and image capture techniques.
  • Proficiency with professional photography equipment, studio lighting, and flash systems.
  • Experience editing and retouching images using Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to image quality.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
  • Ability to lift and move products and equipment up to 50 pounds.
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Professional communication skills and willingness to receive and apply constructive feedback.
  • Photography degree preferred, but equivalent experience and portfolio work are highly valued.

Location & Travel
  • Candidates should reside in Lansing, Michigan.
  • Occasional travel may be required, including assignments beyond the Lansing area and trips exceeding 60 miles.

Why This Role Matters
Every image tells a story. Your work will directly influence how customers, dealers, and partners experience automotive products.
