California Premier Pain Clinics is looking for a part-time or full-time Medical Assistant to join our medical office. Must be willing to work weekends. The ideal candidate would travel between Santa Rosa and Sacramento. Prefer a Vallejo resident as this city is midpoint to both locations.

  • Candidates should have exceptional people and communication skills, be highly skilled in multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment, a commitment to achieving a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, and a no-task-too-small approach to the work.
  • Knowledge of medical office procedures including surgery procedures and practices
  • Knowledge of medical practice and care to assist in giving patient care
  • Knowledge of medical equipment and instruments to administer patient care
  • Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work environment
  • Skill in maintaining records and recording test results
  • Skill in developing and maintaining department quality assurance
  • Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, medical staff and the public
  • Ability to maintain quality control standards including, but not limited to confidentiality
  • Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations
