POSITION SUMMARY
The Content Producer is a visual storyteller and creative contributor who works in tandem with other Content Producers to create engaging, platform-native content for Red Rocks Church's social media platforms.
This role focuses on capturing and crafting compelling visual stories that reflect the voice, brand, and heart of the accounts they support. The Content Producer operates within established platform strategy and editorial direction while owning execution, creativity, and collaboration across ministries as needed.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Content Creation & Capture
  • Consistently produce compelling social media content-including video, photography, reels, TikTok content and simple graphics-that reflects the voice and vision of assigned accounts
  • Collaborate with ministries across the church to capture and create content as needed
  • Capture moments that communicate story, atmosphere, and community with intentionality
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the voice, tone, and brand of each account supported
Editing & Post-Production
  • Edit short-form and long-form content optimized for social platforms
  • Color grade footage using LOG profiles, LUTs, and consistent color workflows
  • Complete simple graphic tasks in Photoshop, including resizing, cleanup, and basic text layout
  • Ensure content is polished, on-brand, and ready for publishing handoff
Platform Awareness & Creative Contribution
  • Stay informed on current platform trends, editing styles, audio practices, and social media changes
  • Contribute creative ideas that support platform strategy and increase engagement and reach when applicable
  • Apply trends thoughtfully and appropriately within established brand guidelines
Collaboration & Handoff
  • Work closely with other Content Producers to support shared creative goals
  • Partner with ministries to capture content aligned with planned initiatives
  • Handoff completed content to the Social Media Project Manager with clear context and timelines
Qualifications
Required
  • Experience producing social media video and photo content
  • Understanding of platform-native content creation (Instagram, TikTok)
  • Comfort capturing content in live or event environments
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Ability to receive creative direction and execute with clarity
  • Strong understanding of brand consistency and stewardship

Preferred
  • Experience working in a church, ministry, or values-driven organization
  • Proficiency in DaVinci Resolve or Adobe Premiere Pro
  • Comfort working with LOG footage and basic color grading workflows
  • Basic Photoshop proficiency
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced creative environment
Additional Details
  • Evening and weekend availability required for services, events, or live moments
  • Specific platforms or ministries supported will be assigned based on team needs and experience

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

When combined with base salary and employer-funded benefits, the total compensation package is approximately:
$70,850 - $94,175 annually, depending on selected coverage and participation levels.
