About the Role

CatFace is seeking a Contract Commercial Video & Photo Editor to support the Marketing team with merchandise launches, campaigns, and external brand partnerships through high-quality post-production work.


This role is responsible for editing a wide variety of creative assets, including animated advertisements, live-action commercials, product marketing videos, ecommerce photography, and lifestyle imagery. Working with our Marketing team, transform raw assets into polished, campaign-ready content that aligns with CatFace's brand standards and business objectives.


The ideal candidate has strong experience in commercial post-production and understands how to create content that performs across digital advertising, ecommerce, social media, and marketing channels.


What You'll Do

Commercial Video Editing

  • Edit commercial content for merchandise launches, seasonal campaigns, and external brand partnerships.
  • Assemble and refine live-action, animated, and mixed-media advertisements.
  • Create polished final edits optimized for YouTube, streaming platforms, website content, and social media platforms.
  • Adapt content into multiple formats and aspect ratios for various platforms.

Audio Post-Production

  • Add and mix voiceovers, music, sound effects, and audio enhancements.
  • Ensure audio quality, timing, and pacing align with creative and marketing goals.
  • Balance dialogue, sound design, and music for professional-quality final deliverables.

Motion Graphics & Visual Effects

  • Create motion graphic elements for marketing and advertising campaigns.
  • Animate logos, titles, callouts, end cards, and promotional graphics.
  • Enhance 2D illustration assets with motion, transitions, visual effects, and graphic treatments.
  • Support animated advertising projects with compositing and light visual effects work.

Photo Editing & Retouching

  • Edit and retouch ecommerce product photography and lifestyle photography.
  • Perform color correction, cleanup, cropping, and asset optimization.
  • Prepare images for ecommerce listings and marketing materials.
  • Export web-ready assets according to platform specifications.

Collaboration & Asset Management

  • Work closely with Marketing to execute campaign concepts.
  • Incorporate feedback and revisions efficiently while maintaining project timelines.
  • Organize project files and maintain clean asset management practices.
  • Ensure all deliverables meet CatFace brand standards and quality expectations.


What We're Looking For

  • Experience editing commercial, advertising, marketing, or branded content.
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
  • Experience with Adobe After Effects and motion graphics workflows.
  • Experience editing both video and photography assets.
  • Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, and visual communication.
  • Experience working with voiceovers, sound design, music, and audio mixing.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and file organization skills.
