Job Summary

We are seeking a talented, detail-oriented Temporary Photographer / Photo Editor to join our team. This is a fast-paced, high-volume production environment that requires exceptional attention to detail, efficiency, and the ability to meet demanding daily production goals. The ideal candidate is highly skilled in Adobe Photoshop, experienced in professional photography and photo editing, and has a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

This role involves editing several hundred images per day while maintaining consistent quality, color accuracy, and adherence to company standards. Candidates must be comfortable working under tight deadlines and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

  • Edit, retouch, color correct, and enhance several hundred images daily using Adobe Photoshop while maintaining exceptional quality and consistency.
  • Meet daily production quotas in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Manage and oversee all technical aspects of photography and editing.
  • Prepare the studio for photo sessions by setting up lighting, backdrops, props, and ensuring the studio is clean and organized.
  • Maintain, organize, and manage photography and video equipment, ensuring all equipment is in excellent working condition.
  • Coordinate and manage photography sessions from setup through completion.
  • Submit edited photos and video assets to the appropriate departments and stakeholders within established deadlines.
  • Follow and maintain the company's brand guidelines across all photography and video projects.
  • Present completed work and project updates to senior management when required.
  • Track photography projects and maintain basic records using Microsoft Excel.
  • Ensure proper file organization, storage, and archiving of digital assets.
  • Assist with additional creative projects as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a professional photographer and high-volume photo editor.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop is required.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Demonstrated ability to edit large volumes of images quickly without compromising quality.
  • Experience operating professional DSLR or mirrorless cameras, lighting equipment, and related photography gear.
  • Knowledge of photography composition, lighting, color correction, and editing techniques.
  • Experience with video recording and editing is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and consistently meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, bend, kneel, or crouch for extended periods during photo sessions.
  • Ability to lift and transport photography equipment.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends, to accommodate client and project schedules.
