Bright Thinker is seeking a detail-oriented, self-motivated Editor/Proofer to support the quality

assurance process in the development of K–12 curriculum materials. The successful candidate will play a

vital role in reviewing editorial corrections and responses to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment

with project guidelines, timelines, and budgets.


This position involves carefully evaluating changes to educational manuscripts throughout the

development cycle, enhancing overall content clarity and instructional value. The Editor/Proofer will

collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in a dynamic work environment to ensure all materials

meet divisional standards of quality and accuracy.

Requirements:
  • Ensure changes align with project schedules, budgets, and content quality standards.
  • Support content development by reviewing and improving manuscripts through multiple revision cycles.
  • Track and verify revisions to ensure consistency and compliance with internal policies and editorial guidelines.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain efficient workflows and resolve content-related issues.
  • Proficiency in High School math functions.
  • Perform special projects as assigned, which may include work outside normal business hours and travel, as required.
