Job description

We are seeking an exceptional storyteller to build and curate photo, digital and video content to grow brand awareness and engagement and advance the MADDs mission nationally. This role combines the strategic thinking of a content strategist, the working knowledge of social media platforms, and the editorial capabilities of a video and photo editor. Successful candidates for this role are creative, flexible, and highly collaborative.
Preferred Locations: Fully Remote position with candidates preferably located within an hour of Minneapolis/St. Paul region .The salary for this position is $75,000.
RESPONSIBILITIES

75% Video and Photography Production
โ€ข Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to create photo and video content that aligns with the organization's branding and messaging across multiple platforms. This includes but is not limited to blog posts, social media updates, web content, videos, and other digital assets.
โ€ข Capture, create and edit unique video and photo content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to guidelines.
โ€ข With a social media first mindset, ability to take initiative and be forward-thinking in creating and managing published content including imagery, video, written and audio.
โ€ข In collaboration with our social team, develop, manage and deliver against a content calendar aligned with MADD's annual initiatives to support our mission and fundraising efforts.
โ€ข Monitor content performance and adjust strategies to optimize engagement and reach. Use analytics tools to measure content performance and make data-driven decisions
โ€ข Research industry trends and audience preferences to create relevant and timely content.
25% Cross Channel Consultation
โ€ข Work with marketing team to optimize content for SEO/YouTube to increase organic traffic and improve search engine rankings.
โ€ข Prevention program video editing for select key initiatives
โ€ข Website consultation with web developers to enhance platform video user experience and functionality[KC1.1].
QUALIFICATIONS
โ€ข Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Video Production or a related field.
โ€ข 5-7 years proven experience in content creation with a portfolio.
โ€ข Excellent critical thinking, interpersonal, communication, time-management and problem-solving skills
โ€ข Strong understanding of brand management and marketing strategies.
โ€ข Proficiency in content development for social media platforms, content management systems, and SEO best practices.
โ€ข Experience with creative tools to create visual content, including Adobe Premier Pro, After Effects, Canva and similar design tools. [KC2.1]
โ€ข Creative thinking and the ability to generate innovative ideas.
โ€ข Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
โ€ข Ability to take direction and work collaboratively across the entire organization among stakeholders from C-suite, senior leadership, peers and regional delivery teams.
