Job description

The Senior Manager, Data Science provides leadership to professional staff focused on a narrow range of work within a function (i.e., a job family)

Is accountable for the performance and results of multiple relatedteams.

Identifiesand addresses complex technical,operationaland/or organization challenges.

Makes decisions guided by resource availability and functionalobjectivesDevelopsand implements tactical operational plans that align with businessobjectives.

*This position is required onsite 4 days per week, typically Monday- Thursday

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for multiple business domains (business vertical, geography, function)

  • Set annual goals for team and executes; goals are majordriverof BU/COE unit deliverables.

  • Resource assignment delegated to managers, has processes to ensure the right resources are getting assigned to highest priority; able to get resources ifrequired(prioritization, business case)

  • Strategically manage deliverablesrequiredfrom key functional units. Produces annual roadmaps with partners.

  • Able to lead and manageteamacross multiple domains.

  • Drive key strategy for team, team strategy informs Inspire Brands strategic direction (Growth Playbook)

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

MINIMUM requirement options:

  • Master'sdegree in a STEM fieldwith4+years ofrelevant work experienceOR
  • PhD in a STEM field with3+years ofrelevant work experience

PREFERRED:

  • Master's degree in aSTEM field with5+years ofrelevantworkexperience. Experience managing multiple individual contributors.
