Job description

United Landscape in Lexington KY seeks Lawn Care technicians for our team. We are looking for individuals who can deliver the highest standard of service. We deal mainly with high-end residential landscapes and are looking for dedicated, hard-working, efficient people who take pride in performing work of excellent quality.
Your Mission:
As a lawn care or plant health care technician, you would help our customers beautify their properties and protect them from lawn and plant health care challenges in a way that's sensitive to the environment. Technicians will perform
assessments and applications, develop client services, and effectively communicate with clients, supervisors, and staff. Teamwork, attention to detail and a desire to provide the highest level of service to our clients is key.
You're a Great Fit if You Have:
  • A desire to learn and be coachable as you grow in your position
  • 1-3 years' turf and/or PHC technician experience (1 year minimum)
  • A KY pest applicator license (if you need to pass the exam, we will prepare you and pay for the test)
  • Ability to perform work according to specifications
  • Excellent time-management skills, and the ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • The ability to be on time each day and be available for work Mon-Fri (some weekend work available)

Excellent Candidates Would Have:
  • Capacity to be a self-starter and follow-up
  • Great tree, shrub, weed/turf grass, and plant identification skills, ISA pruning practices, and knowledge of disease and pest control options
  • An ISA Arborist Certification and/or experience in a related field
  • A 2- or 4-year degree in Horticulture, Forestry, or a related area
