Job description

Company Overview:
Strive Pharmacy is a personalized compounding pharmacy built on a simple conviction: medicine should fit the patient, not the other way around. We started Strive because we believed the pharmaceutical industry was overdue for a more human approach-one that prioritizes individualized care, clinical nuance, and genuine partnership with patients and providers.
Compounding gives us the tools to do that. Every formulation we prepare is built to the specific needs of a specific person, and every interaction we have is guided by that same commitment to personalized care.
We're growing, and we're looking for people who share that conviction. If you're ready to be part of a pharmacy that takes the work seriously and the people even more seriously, we'd like to meet you.
Mission:
Strive exists to disrupt an industry long overdue for a more personal approach to care. We put the human element at the center of everything: every formulation, every patient interaction, every provider partnership. We're not just a compounding pharmacy. We're a team on a mission to change what personalized healthcare looks and feels like.
Location: Mesa, Arizona
Onsite Requirement: This position is fully onsite in Mesa, AZ and does not offer remote or hybrid work. Candidates must currently reside within a reasonable commuting distance of Mesa, AZ.
Position Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday - Friday; 9am - 5:30pm or 9:30am - 6pm
Compensation Range: $22.00 - $23.00 per hour
Position Overview:
As a Data Entry Pharmacy Technician at Strive Pharmacy, you will play a pivotal role in delivering life-changing medications to patients. You will serve as the engine of our prescription processing operations, upholding strict quality control, maintaining regulatory compliance, and ensuring data accuracy across all workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Prescription Processing: Accurately process new and refill prescription orders, ensuring thorough review before submission while working to fulfill daily key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Provider & Patient Collaboration: Communicate effectively with healthcare providers to obtain missing or unclear information, including prescription details and patient or provider demographics.
  • Data Verification: Confirm the accuracy and completeness of patient, prescriber, and medication data, proactively identifying and correcting discrepancies to maintain order integrity.
  • Workflow Coordination: Partner closely with pharmacists, technicians, and support staff to maintain an efficient, seamless operations workflow.
  • Compliance & Privacy: Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA guidelines, confidential patient data protections, internal policies, and all applicable state and federal regulations governing prescription processing.
  • Technical Precision: Apply the highest level of technical attention to detail across all processing tasks.
  • Performance Tier Progression: Grow with us through three distinct performance levels:
    • Beginner: Process 50 to 100 prescriptions per day, laying the foundation for your career in pharmaceutical care.
    • Intermediate: Handle 100 to 175 prescriptions per day, honing your skills and contributing to our collective success.
    • Advanced: Exceed 175 prescriptions per day, leading the way in efficiency and quality while setting new standards in the industry.
Required Qualifications:
  • Active Arizona State Pharmacy Technician license (non-trainee) and current CPhT certification via PTCB or NHA required.
  • 1+ years of experience in a pharmacy data entry position (retail, community, or mail-order setting).
  • Proficient computer ability and data entry skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and high accuracy rate.
  • Demonstrated background in customer service with a high standard of professionalism.
  • Flexibility to work Saturdays as operationally required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a dedicated custom compounding pharmacy setting.
  • Familiarity with specialized pharmacy management software and medical terminology.
Work Environment:
This is a fully onsite position based at our Mesa, Arizona location. Remote or hybrid work is not available. The role requires regular periods of sitting, standing, and computer use, with occasional lifting as needed. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
Hourly Pay Rate
$22-$23 USD
Join Us in Making an Impact:
At Strive, the work is real and the impact is direct. Every role here contributes to a patient experience that's more personal, more attentive, and more human than what most people have come to expect from a pharmacy. Apply today and help us raise the bar.
Benefits/ Perks:
