Job DescriptionFull-Time Transportation Driver

Assisted Living & Retirement Living Community

We are seeking a dependable, compassionate, and safety-focused Full-Time Transportation Driver to join our Assisted Living and Retirement Living Community team. This position plays an important role in supporting our residents by providing safe and courteous transportation to appointments, errands, and community destinations.

Position Details:

  • Full-Time Position
  • 40 hours per week, including every other weekend
  • Must be flexible to work weekends and evenings

Responsibilities:

  • Drive an assigned route transporting residents to and from: medical appointments, educational institutions, human service agencies, grocery stores, pharmacies, community outings and other destinations.
  • Assist passengers safely in and out of the vehicle
  • Provide courteous and professional customer service to residents and passengers
  • Ensure vehicle cleanliness and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly
  • Follow all traffic laws, safety procedures, and company transportation policies
  • Maintain punctuality and reliable attendance

Qualifications:

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Previous transportation or senior living experience preferred
  • Ability to work independently and interact respectfully with seniors and staff
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to safely assist residents with mobility needs

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to stoop, bend, twist, reach, lift up to 50 pounds.
