  • WORK SCHEDULE: 8 Hour Day, 5 days a week, every 3 rd weekend.

JOB SUMMARY
The pharmacists will provide good quality pharmaceutical care.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Other duties may be assigned.
Demonstrates skills and judgment necessary to provide pharmaceutical care services.
Monthly inspections are on time and accurate.
Maintains the highest degree of accuracy as measured by lack of variances. Actively reviews patient medication profiles for demographic completeness, ADRs, drug interactions, therapeutic duplications, formulary compliance and therapeutic appropriateness.

ADR's and Variances.
Technician Supervision.
Participates in at least one; case presentation; community service; P&T presentation or project; DUE; Policy and Procedure development or training; technician/pharmacist training.
Understands the legal/regulatory requirements related to the release of information. Able to use the information systems pertinent to the job.
Creative Problem Solving - Examples of Achievement.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or GED required.
State of Florida Pharmacist license required.
One year of hospital experience preferred.
Intermediate computer knowledge: Uses Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows.
