Job description

Keep critical Infrastructure running!

At Liberty Software, we proudly partner with client pharmacies across the country, helping them support their patients with powerful, user-friendly software. We're excited to grow our team by hiring an Infrastructure Engineer who will monitor the health and administration of all Infrastructure components including storage area networks, virtualization, server hardware, operating systems, networking, business applications, and security Infrastructure.

Please note:

  • This role is based in our Southlake, TX office

What You'll Do:

  • Work with the team to design and document infrastructure solutions to meet business objectives
  • Build and configure servers, storage, and network components per design
  • Administration of Microsoft HyperV failover cluster, VM lifecycle, MPIO paths, iSCSI targets, and performance tuning
  • Configure FortiGate 400F firewalls, FortiSwitches, FortiLink, VLANs, segmentation, and VPNs
  • Ensure infrastructure solution designs fulfill functional and technical requirements according to Liberty's Infrastructure Configuration Standards
  • Accountable for resolution of outages, service level issues, and other events in partnership with support teams
  • Manage Azure AD Connect, SAML SSO, integrations, conditional access, and identity lifecycle
  • Provide corporate end user technical support
  • Administration of Storage LUNs, volumes, snapshots, replication, and SAN performance
  • Monitor Infrastructure system health using Network Management System
  • Ensure that all Infrastructure devices are backed up and readily available for recovery per DR/BCP processes
  • Monitor daily ticket queue for infrastructure support items
  • Works directly with Liberty's Information Security team to implement, secure, and administers necessary technical Infrastructure controls
  • Creating, updating, and maintaining procedural and KB documentation as needed
  • Participate on IT Infrastructure after hours on-call rotation
  • Promote adherence to IT and InfoSec policies and procedures
  • Flexible for occasional off-site travel required

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or related field preferred
  • CompTIA Server+, Network+, MCSA, or similar certification preferred
  • Five (5) or more years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience with Windows Server 2012R2 – 2022 Operation Systems
  • Strong experience with Windows Server AD, Hyper-V, iSCSI, MPIO, and SAN storage
  • Five (5) or more years of Active Directory 2012/2016 administration in an Enterprise environment with preference in a Hybrid Azure AD
  • Five (5) or more years of experience with enterprise level Hypervisors technologies, preferably Microsoft Hyper-V
  • Two (2) or more years of experience with public Cloud providers, preferably Microsoft Azure
  • Three (3) or more years of hands-on network and firewall technologies, preferably Fortigate Firewalls and Fortinet FortiOS routing/switching platforms
  • Three (3) or more years of experience working with Network Management Systems using SNMP and/or WMI protocols, Solarwinds NPM and SAM technologies preferred
  • Hands-on experience with storage hardware, file systems and protocols, preferably HPE MSA 2000 series running iSCSI protocol
  • Hands-on experience with HP Proliant server technologies preferred
  • Hands-on experience with automated configuration management or system hardening
  • Hands-on experience with automated configuration management or system hardening
  • Proven track record of planning, coordinating and executing IT initiatives
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, conflict resolution, and customer service skills
