Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze existing software and develop solution for cloud platform using .NET Core/C#/Azure/Web API
  • Lead and participate in technical design discussions that produce high-performance, highly scalable, and resilient software components.
  • Collaborate with other engineers and product owners and QA members to identify best in class software solutions to complex problems in the health care industry.
  • Maintain existing legacy applications written in ASP.Net/c#.Net through defect correction and refactoring.
  • Take a quality-first approach to software development by producing unit tests and automate functional testing as much as possible.
  • Conduct code reviews with other developers, including security checks.
  • Actively participate in Agile Daily Standups/ Sprint Planning/ Refinements / Retrospectives and Sprint demos.
  • Promote SOLID design principles for software development in a cloud-based environment to implement a code that can easily be modified, tested, extended, and refactored without any problems.

Minimum Requirement

Degree or equivalent and typically requires 2+ years of relevant experience.

Education

4 years degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience

Critical Skills

  • 2+ years of experience developing web-based applications using Microsoft technologies.
  • Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET/.NET Core, JavaScript/TypeScript, Angular, HTML, and CSS.
  • Experience building and supporting cloud-based solutions in Azure (AWS/GCP exposure welcomed).
  • Strong SQL Server experience, including working within high-volume transactional environments.
  • Hands-on experience with Git-based source control, CI/CD pipelines, and modern development practices.
  • Solid foundation in object-oriented programming, software design, testing, debugging, and code quality.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills with keen attention to detail.

Additional Knowledge & Skills

  • Experience working with secure web services and API
  • Agile software methodology experience
  • Experience with Data bricks
  • Experience with JIRA and Confluence
  • Health care experience is a plus

This position offers the possibility of a hybrid work arrangement based on recent updates to our in-office/workfromhome model. If located in DFW area, the selected candidate may be expected to work onsite at our Las Colinas office a minimum of two (2) days per week, with the remaining days worked remotely.
