The Sales Associate is a key member of Bonafide's Hybrid Commercial Team, responsible for supporting healthcare provider engagement through proactive customer outreach, appointment coordination, account management, and commercial operations. Working in close partnership with Sales Executives, this role helps expand healthcare provider reach by coordinating customer interactions across multiple engagement channels. The Sales Associate manages many of the operational and customer support activities that allow field leaders to focus on high-value customer conversations and strategic business development. This role combines inside sales, customer success, commercial operations, and sales coordination responsibilities while serving as an important extension of the field organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITES

Critical contributions this role is counted on to deliver include:

Customer Engagement Support

  • Proactively contact healthcare provider offices to schedule in-person and virtual appointments for Hybrid Territory Business Managers.
  • Coordinate customer calendars and optimize representative schedules to maximize productive selling time.
  • Conduct professional outbound communications to introduce educational opportunities, webinars, and promotional programs.
  • Build positive relationships with office managers, nurses, medical assistants, and administrative staff.

Account Management

  • Maintain accurate customer profiles within CRM.
  • Update provider contact information, account preferences, and engagement history.
  • Monitor customer activity and identify accounts requiring follow-up.
  • Assist with onboarding newly identified healthcare providers into the commercial call plan.

Sales Operations

  • Coordinate sample requests, educational materials, and collateral fulfillment.
  • Track sample shipments and resolve fulfillment issues.
  • Support conference planning and logistics. Prepare customer lists and appointment schedules.
  • Assist Sales Executives with pre-call planning.

Commercial Support

  • Partner with Hybrid Sales Executives to execute regional business plans.
  • Identify opportunities to improve provider engagement.
  • Assist with customer segmentation and territory prioritization.
  • Support execution of marketing campaigns and customer outreach initiatives.

Digital & Virtual Engagement

  • Coordinate virtual detailing appointments using approved technology platforms.
  • Assist providers with webinar registrations and educational events.
  • Follow up with providers after virtual programs to gather feedback and schedule future engagement.
  • Support digital campaign execution through outbound communications.

Customer Success

  • Serve as a trusted point of contact for healthcare provider offices.
  • Resolve routine customer questions and coordinate appropriate internal resources.
  • Ensure timely follow-up on customer requests.
  • Deliver a high-quality customer experience through proactive communication.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Maintain CRM accuracy and serve as a trusted point of contact for healthcare provider offices.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 2-5 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales support, inside sales, healthcare customer service, medical office management, or commercial operations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Experience working with CRM platforms (Salesforce, Veeva, Microsoft, etc.).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Comfortable working with virtual meeting platforms (Microsoft Teams, Zoom).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong customer service orientation

SALARY RANGE

National Target Base Pay Range: $63,000 - $105,000. The salary range for this position is based on national standards. For candidates in California and New York metro the Target Base Pay Range is $71,000 - $118,000, to reflect the cost of living and market conditions in those areas.

Actual compensation will take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location, education, experience, qualifications and job-related skills. It is not typical for an individual to be hired above the midpoint of the range for their role and compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. This information is provided to applicants in accordance with state and local laws.

Base pay is only one component of our total rewards offerings, and we will take the full offering into consideration when presenting an offer of employment. Our total rewards package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, Medical, dental and vision benefits, 401K match, and other wellness benefits.

This represents the minimum and maximum base salary range for this role, plus annual incentive. Various elements are used to determine a candidate's starting salary such as job experience, specific skills, and comparison to internal incumbents currently in the role.
