Job Summary:
3GIMBALS is hiring an experienced GEOINT senior advisor with demonstrable skill in evolving analytic tradecraft and who understands how NGA Analysis is modernizing tradecraft through automation and augmentation. Our Solution Engineering and Acquisition Management (SEAM) team needs you to work the organizational and cultural seams between NGA Program Executive Office (PEO)-Ground Office for Collection (NGA/PGC) and GEOINT Analysis - and between PGC and the NGA Sensors Acquisition Office - to advise PGC leaders in delivering solutions that enhance the collection response to the agency's Analytic and Sensor Modernization Programs.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply strategic thinking to innovate and standardize cross-organizational engagement with analysts and translate analyst mission needs and capability gaps into interface descriptions and capability requirements
  • Maintain knowledge of NGA sensor program enhancements and their implications on both tasking and analysis
  • Provide technical advice to leadership in accelerating adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies
  • Attend to the operational seam between capability developers and mission users in Analysis and Source and National- and Allied Systems for Geospatial-Intelligence (NSG and ASG) organizations, to include DoD theater users
  • Secure key connections with mission user groups, assist in maintaining close ties to key mission subject matter experts (SME) in Analysis and the PEO-Ground Sensors office (PGS)
  • Anticipate requirements issues and disconnects in the aforementioned areas and assist PGC leadership in averting them, recommending program adjustments where and when appropriate.

Serve as part of a small team of senior advisors to ensure the successful delivery of PGC capabilities to mission users. Demonstrate initiative in tightening the mission seams between the collection function and the agency's analysis and sensor acquisition programs. Understand and help the government client to mitigate the cultural and technical hindrances to achieve more seamless integration between systems that power these agency mission-essential functions. Apply artificial intelligence (AI)-assisted methods in prosecuting cultural and technical solutions. Support agile acquisition practices and design approaches that satisfy mission operations needs and tradecraft preferences, and provide innovative approaches to enhance mission effectiveness with IPC capability deliveries. Cultivate cross-organizational relationships with operations and acquisition SMEs spanning the analysis, collection, and sensor domains.
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Deep knowledge of GEOINT tradecraft and broad exposure to GEOINT analysis tools
  • Fundamental understanding of IC collection capabilities, systems, and intelligence disciplines
  • Recent application of AI technologies to assist in engineering, design, and acquisition decisions

Desired Skills/Abilities:

  • Knowledge of and experience in GEOINT sensor programs
  • Demonstrated analytic and investigative skills in identifying adversary weaknesses
  • Skilled in intelligence data acquisition and analytical approaches
  • Broad IC experience with assignments in multiple community organizations
  • Demonstrated ability to form, facilitate, and lead teams for analytic response to real-world crises.

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree and 15 years of experience or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of related experience in GEOINT analysis and development of analysis tradecraft
  • Relevant experience in sensor programs associated with GEOINT ground systems.
