The Planning and Portfolio Management Team provides planning and stewardship of a large portfolio of projects across the Retail organization. We work closely with project managers, leadership and other parts of Apple to craft a strategic, synchronized plan that helps the Retail Organization realize it's goals. Description
We are looking for someone who has demonstrated excellence in planning and portfolio management. The ideal person will be able to effectively lead a team of planning professionals and balance the needs of multiple stakeholders. You are strategically minded, an excellent communicator, and analytical.
Minimum Qualifications
7+ years of experience in portfolio management, complex program management, strategic operations, or a combination of extensive portfolio/program management and experience leading retail operations.
3+ years of experience leading teams, either through direct people management or leading large cross-functional initiatives.
Experience working with Engineering and technology teams
Strong understanding of data analysis, forecasting and reporting methodologies
Proven ability to take initiative, foster trust and build strong, productive relationships, with cross-functional teams and partners
Experience leading executive level strategic discussions
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working effectively in a highly-matrixed organization across timezones
Preferred project management professional (PMP) or portfolio management professional (PfMP) certification
BA/BS in Business Administration or related field or relevant professional experience
