National Ballot is a nonpartisan civic engagement platform that helps voters access ballots and clear, reliable election information. We combine communication with community outreach to make voting easier and more accessible for everyone. We’re growing our marketing team to support additional campaigns we have access to and are looking for a motivated Junior Marketing Representative to join us either full-time or part-time.

Position Summary

We’re hiring a full-time Junior Marketing Representative to support marketing and outreach efforts across various states and community partnerships. This role is hands-on and fast-paced: you’ll help shape how voters and community organizations perceive and use our services, and organize outreach campaigns.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support community outreach efforts and build positive relationships with local organizations, volunteers, and partners
  • Help plan and execute marketing campaigns
  • Track and report on campaign performance and engagement metrics
  • Work independently on assigned projects while collaborating with the broader team to meet deadlines
  • Bring ideas to improve outreach, engagement, and communications


Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of experience in communications, marketing, customer relations, or content creation (internships and volunteer work considered)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; clear, concise copywriting ability
  • Ability to multitask, manage time effectively, and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving attitude
  • Interest in civic engagement and commitment to nonpartisan public service communications
  • Available to start within 2–4 weeks
