 LEAD PEST CONTROL TECHNICIAN


Bugging Out Termite & Pest Control | Bergen County, NJ


We’re Hiring!

Bugging Out Termite & Pest Control is looking for a reliable, experienced, and dedicated Lead Pest Control Technician to join our team!

We are a family-owned pest control company that takes pride in providing excellent service to our customers and creating a positive work environment for our employees.

THE POSITION

As a Lead Pest Control Technician, you will be responsible for managing your own daily residential pest control route throughout Bergen County.

Schedule:

  • Monday–Friday
  • Weekends optional
  • Residential customers only
  • Bergen County only
  • Full-time position
  • Consistent daily route
  • No long-distance travel


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Complete daily residential pest control routes efficiently and professionally
  • Perform inspections and identify pest activity and conditions contributing to infestations
  • Provide appropriate pest control services according to company standards and label requirements
  • Identify pest problems and determine effective solutions
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with homeowners
  • Educate customers about pest activity, prevention, and recommended services
  • Document services accurately and maintain detailed customer records
  • Maintain and properly care for company vehicle, equipment, and supplies
  • Keep truck clean, organized, and properly stocked
  • Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and state regulations
  • Handle customer concerns professionally and work toward positive resolutions
  • Recognize opportunities for additional services and communicate them to the office/sales team
  • Work independently while remaining a strong member of the Bugging Out team
  • Assist with training and mentoring other technicians when needed
  • Serve as a positive example of professionalism, customer service, and work ethic
  • Help troubleshoot difficult pest problems and assist technicians when needed
  • Represent Bugging Out professionally at every customer interaction

  • Previous pest control experience required
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • NJ pesticide license preferred
  • Ability to obtain additional licenses as required
  • Ability to safely operate company vehicles and pest control equipment
  • Ability to lift equipment and supplies and perform the physical requirements of the position
  • Strong attendance and punctuality
  • Professional appearance and attitude
