Job description

A well-established law firm in Garden City, NY is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Paralegal to join their team. This is a fully in-office position, Monday through Friday, ideal for a motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage personal injury cases from intake through settlement
  • Prepare and organize legal documents, pleadings, discovery, demands, and correspondence
  • Obtain and review medical records and bills
  • Communicate with clients, insurance companies, medical providers, and attorneys
  • Assist attorneys with case and trial preparation
  • Maintain accurate and organized case files
  • Track deadlines, appointments, and case status
  • Handle day-to-day administrative and paralegal responsibilities related to personal injury matters

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of Personal Injury Paralegal experience
  • Strong knowledge of personal injury cases and procedures
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Must be reliable, professional, and comfortable working fully in-office
