Job description

Hupy and Abraham, a personal injury law firm headquartered in Milwaukee, WI, is looking for a professional and motivated Intake Specialist for the Appleton office.
The Intake Specialist is responsible for screening potential new client calls and completing the intake process.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Screening potential new client calls
  • Explaining the Firm’s services and how they would benefit the potential new client
  • Gathering facts from potential clients and entering them into the Firm’s case management software
  • Uploading documents and entering status updates for referrals
  • Conducting electronic, phone, mail, or video signups with clients during initial contact
  • Assigning new potential client to Investigator for field sign up upon request
  • Managing signup and intake paperwork which consists of tasks such as tracking intake packages, gathering missing documents and uploading information
  • Reporting monthly statistics to Supervisor and Director of Operations
  • Other duties and projects as assigned


REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma with 2 - 5 years of experience in a customer service role. Experience working at a law firm preferred.
  • Must be able to be to travel locally using own vehicle as needed. Valid driver's license and auto insurance is required.
  • Occasional evening on-call shifts may be required.
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills (verbal & written)
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast paced/dynamic environment
  • Computer experience should include intermediate knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • High level of professionalism and confidentiality
