About the Opportunity

We are partnering with a well-established and highly respected law firm in Oshkosh to hire an experienced Legal Assistant. The firm supports a diverse client base across public, private, and nonprofit sectors and handles a broad range of legal matters, including employment-related work and general business services.


This position is ideal for a detail-oriented Legal Assistant with 1–3+ years of hands-on legal support experience who is seeking a stable, long-term role within a professional and community-focused environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, edit, proofread, and finalize legal documents and correspondence
  • Maintain and organize electronic and physical client files
  • Serve as a professional point of contact for clients and external parties
  • Assist with client intake and manage confidential information with discretion
  • Coordinate schedules, deadlines, and calendars, including court-related matters
  • Prepare and file legal documents with courts and applicable agencies
  • Support billing, expense tracking, and administrative processes
