Job description

Hartel, DeSantis & Murray, LLP, an AV-Rated Maryland litigation law firm practicing in Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia, seeks a full time, hardworking, detail-oriented team player to join our team at our Hanover, Maryland office.

Salary commensurate with experience. Candidates must complete all screening questions including minimum salary requirements based on experience and salary range, and submit your resume, to be considered.

Experience:
- Microsoft Office experience required.
- Legal experience in Insurance defense and personal injury preferred.

Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
- Subpoena medical records;
- Obtain medical records by authorizations;
- Organize/index medical records;
- Summarize medical records;
- Draft correspondence;
- Draft pleadings;
- Draft discovery;
- Draft discovery responses;
- Draft supplemental discovery responses;
- Schedule and note depositions;
- Schedule IMEs and MRRs;
- Subpoena medical records & following up on same;
- Draft letters of assurance;
- Efile documents with various courts;
- Occasional hand deliveries to courts and doctor offices;
- Conferences with clients in general
- Conferences with clients to answer discovery
- Request police reports;
- Request MVA records;
- FOIA requests;
- Enter time in case management system (minimum 120 hours per month);
- Filing and general office duties;
- Any other assignments/duties as requested.

Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
