Job Title: Personal Injury Case Manager
Salary: Starting at $60,000+ (Commensurate with Experience)
Position Overview
Taylor Law Firm is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Personal Injury Case Manager to oversee a pre-litigation caseload from intake through settlement preparation.
This is a high-impact role for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership of their files, and is committed to delivering exceptional client service. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing complex case workflows with minimal supervision.
We are looking for someone who views case management as more than administrative work. This position requires critical thinking, investigative skills, strong client relationship management, and the ability to drive cases forward efficiently and strategically.
Key Responsibilities
Case Management & Strategy
Manage a pre-litigation caseload from intake through settlement preparation.
Develop and execute case plans to ensure timely progression of files.
Analyze case facts, liability issues, insurance coverage, and treatment progress.
Identify potential challenges early and recommend appropriate next steps.
Escalate concerns and provide case recommendations to attorneys as needed.
Evaluate cases for viability and identify matters that may not meet firm criteria.
Client Relationship Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the life of the case.
Maintain consistent communication and provide proactive case updates.
Guide clients through the treatment process and ensure compliance with medical recommendations.
Deliver a high-touch client experience that reflects the firm's commitment to service excellence.
Address client concerns promptly and professionally.
Medical Records & Documentation
Coordinate the collection, review, and organization of medical records and billing documentation.
Monitor treatment progress and maintain communication with medical providers.
Draft and manage Letters of Protection (LOPs).
Ensure records and supporting documentation are complete and available for case evaluation and settlement demands.
Insurance & Claims Management
Verify insurance coverage and investigate all available sources of recovery.
Communicate directly with insurance carriers and adjusters.
Draft Letters of Representation and initiate claims.
Track claim status and ensure all deadlines and requirements are met.
File Management & Case Progression
Maintain accurate and organized electronic case files.
Utilize the firm's case management system to document all activity and communications.
Monitor deadlines, treatment milestones, and file progression.
Coordinate attorney-client meetings and case-related appointments as necessary.
Ensure cases move efficiently through each stage of pre-litigation.
Qualifications
Required
Minimum of two (2) years of case management experience in a Georgia personal injury law firm.
Strong understanding of Georgia personal injury claims and pre-litigation procedures.
Experience handling motor vehicle, trucking, premises liability, and other personal injury matters.
Exceptional communication and client relationship skills.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Ability to manage a high-volume caseload while maintaining accuracy and responsiveness.
Proven ability to work independently and take ownership of results.
Preferred
Bilingual (English/Spanish).
Experience with CasePeer or similar legal case management platforms.
Experience reviewing medical records and evaluating case value drivers.
