Requirements:
  • possesses and carries a valid Illinois Retired Concealed Carry (IROCC) card
  • possesses and carries a valid Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC) if longer than 12 months has passed since being separated from most recent law enforcement agency employment
  • successfully completes an annual firearm qualification
  • possesses a valid Illinois Driver's License
Preferred:
  • successfully passes the Illinois State Policy Basic Juvenile Officers Training course (32 hours)
Other:
  • individually contracted (non-union) employee
  • hourly compensation with potential overtime for evening/weekend events
  • workdays and work hours correspond with school district's calendar of student attendance days
