Central Illinois Security (CIS) is an established Alarm Installation and Monitoring Company. Central Illinois Security (CIS) is seeking candidates to cover overnight shifts (11:00 p.m
- 7:00 a.m.) Friday-Sunday to join our Central Station Team in Springfield, IL. We will consider one part-time candidate to fill this need. In this role, you will be a front-line representative for CIS working on the overnight shifts (11:00pm - 7:00am)
The days of the week that the hired individual will work are Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. This is a 24/7/365 facility, which may occasionally require some holidays. The compensation package includes an hourly wage + paid overtime, paid time off, and double pay for holidays (applicable if you work on the holiday).
Other perks of this position would include access to our 24-hour health club onsite and a casual work environment. Duties and Responsibilities Promptly responding to alarms by making phone calls to businesses and homeowners Notifying appropriate authorities in emergency situations Professionally and efficiently answering incoming calls on a multi-line phone system Providing excellent customer service Routing calls to appropriate extension/personnel Taking accurate and detailed messages Assisting with invoice mailings Greeting visitors via video intercom Candidate Requirements Once you have been hired, you must obtain a PERC card, which will require fingerprinting and background checks at both the state and federal levels. CIS will coordinate and pay to obtain this certification.
You must be at least 18 years of age. You must be available to work the overnight shift (11:00pm to 7:00am) Friday-Sunday, and some holidays. You must have permanent authorization to work in the USA.
