Designing Implementation Plan of a new Project
Raising Firewall and Load Balancer request
End to End setup of new projects
Creating JVMs for new applications to be deployed.
Responsible for 24x7 server and environment availability and monitoring.
Deploying applications, configuring JDBC connection pools, Data Sources, JMS Queues etc.
Monitoring the production JVMs using Introscope.
Creating shell scripts for deployment and backup of servers.
Taking the thread dumps and analyzing the issues.
Installed and configured SSL for authentication with the webserver and Configured LDAP for application server authorization and security
Generating and updating plug-in and httpd.conf file
Handling most of the Web Sphere Administration work
Applied interim fixes, fix packs and refresh packs for WAS
Resolved high priority problem tickets within time frame and analyzed for root causes.
