ROLE : Windows Infra engineer
Location: Richardson, Texas - This role requires the candidate to be on premises during regular Business Hours.
Job Type: Contract
Key Job Responsibilities:
  • manage and optimize Windows environments on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Use Splunk for monitoring and analytics.
  • Convert Amazon Machine Images (AMI) to containerization and implementing effective observability strategies
  • Develop and implement observability strategies, including monitoring, alerting, and troubleshooting of systems and applications.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of new applications and services.
  • Keep abreast of the latest AWS features and technologies, applying best practices in cloud management and security.
  • Provide technical support and guidance on issues related to Windows system management, AWS, and Splunk.
  • Document system configurations, processes, and standard operating procedures.

Prerequisite:
  • 7-8 years of experience managing and maintaining Windows servers and infrastructure in Hybrid/Multi cloud environments (AWS and GCP), ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
  • Experience Implementing and overseeing the use of Splunk for log management, data analysis, and real-time monitoring.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science / engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience converting Amazon Machine Images (AMI) to containerized solutions, optimizing for scalability and efficiency
  • Hands on experience with Python scripting language.
