Job description

  • Join the PingOne Directory team and help drive development of a multi-tenant user store
  • Collaborate with Product, Architecture, UX, and SRE colleagues to define requirements and design features, components, APIs, and microservices
  • Lead feature development from discovery through production, including technical design, implementation, review, testing, documentation, and operational readiness
  • Make technical decisions balancing product needs, engineering quality, performance, security, and delivery constraints
  • Work on SaaS and on-premise software products
  • Mentor engineers through code reviews, technical feedback, design discussions, pairing, and knowledge-sharing
  • Contribute to continuous improvement within an agile delivery team
  • Participate in an on-call support rotation for a multi-tenant SaaS product
Requirements
  • Extensive hands-on development experience delivering major features for products with complex user workflows
  • A product-minded approach to engineering, balancing technical constraints, scope, customer needs, and business goals
  • Experience using AI-assisted workflows across the software development lifecycle
  • Strong Java development experience and object-oriented design principles
  • Experience with Spring or similar Java frameworks
  • Experience designing, building, and consuming RESTful APIs, ideally within a microservice architecture
