Job description

Technical Performance & Core Engineering
  • Location: Dallas, TX Onsite
  • Must-Have Technical Expertise: Performance testing expertise (JMeter, Dynatrace), comprehensive understanding of load/stress testing, garbage collection, heap memory, CPU utilization, strong Java background, Jenkins CI/CD, and WebLogic/Java servers.
Performance & Core Engineering
  • Performance Test Design & Execution: Design and execute end-to-end performance tests (including load, stress, soak, spike, and capacity testing) using Apache JMeter. Build reusable test plans and data strategies.
  • System Diagnostics & Instrumentation: Instrument and analyze end-to-end system performance using Dynatrace (or similar APM tools) to trace hotspots across services, JVM/CLR, databases, caches, and external dependencies.
  • Scalability & Resiliency Tuning: Profile application bottlenecks, optimize code paths, and tune JVM, threads, DB queries, connection pools, caches, and message brokers.
  • Pipeline Automation: Automate performance testing pipelines by integrating test suites into CI/CD (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) with automated pass/fail gates based on performance thresholds.
Software Development & Architecture
  • Backend Engineering: Deliver 6–8 years of full-stack development experience with a strong focus on Java, Java EE, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and RESTful API development.
  • Distributed Systems: Build and operate scalable microservices and event-driven systems using Apache Kafka.
  • Best Practices: Apply a solid understanding of domain-driven design, object-oriented programming principles, secure coding, and modern cloud practices (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, or Azure).
  • Full-Stack Support: Collaborate on backend services while supporting and enhancing front-end user experiences through Angular-based development as required.
