RSM's Management Consulting Technology Performance team provides strategy and advisory assistance to improve the overall effectiveness of the Technology & Digital function for our clients.


We are looking for a Manager to join this team! As a Technology Performance Manager at RSM, you will work with businesses in the industrials industry and receive hands-on client experience with direct access to executive management. You will work on numerous projects per year, managing several pieces of assignments, not just one small part, and you will feel a great sense of accomplishment when you are done! Responsibilities

  • Advise clients on their digital transformation journeys including digital strategy development, digital assessments, roadmap development and advising on emerging technologies

  • Advise CIOs on optimizing IT departments and IT capabilities within client organizations

  • Lead and develop your team

  • Act as a project manager and liaison between stakeholders and users

  • Perform technology assessments

  • Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, uncover areas for improvement, and develop and implement solutions

  • Prioritize initiatives based on business needs and requirements

  • Update, implement and maintain procedures

  • Work closely with clients and technicians

  • Participate in projects, develop project plans, and monitor performance

  • Provide leadership, training, coaching, and guidance to junior staff

  • Gather critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and produce applicable reports

  • Network internally and externally to develop sales opportunities

  • Perform user acceptance testing

  • Provide analysis, development and documentation of improvement opportunities

Basic Qualifications

  • 8+ years' experience in process intelligence, digital transformation and/or software management, preferably working in a platform agnostic environment

  • Knowledge of ERP, CRM, CPM and other enterprise platforms

  • Previous consulting experience, advising on digital adoption automation and efficiencies

  • Previous experience with implementing technologies and migrating clients to SaaS/cloud environments.

  • Knowledge of enterprise architecture concepts across all domains

  • Basic understanding of IT application lifecycle, general IT controls and methods

  • Experience in developing Target Operating Models for clients

  • Strong communication skills

  • Critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to apply theoretical concepts and best practices to solve business problems

  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills

  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% throughout North America

  • Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations

  • Ability to anticipate and address client concerns and issues

  • Demonstrated work ethic and ability to work effectively with people at all levels

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience with various software solutions including Microsoft Project, Visio, PowerPoint and Word

  • Database knowledge (Microsoft SQL, and/or Access)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications such as COBIT, ITIL, PMP, TOGAF

  • Experience in PE and/or M&A transactions

The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.

Compensation Range: $98,000 - $167,000

Individualsselected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
