Job Description:

The net.AMERICA Corporation is seeking a Senior Test Engineer who has a large scale of expertise in system test engineering. This position also requires experience in testing systems, integrated and non-integrated, PowerBuilder software testing, network and hardware architectures, front end and backend testing, creation and execution of automated test cases, as well as full life cycle responsibilities, including testing requirements, design, software, etc. in large scale environments and related matters. In addition, this position requires strong communication and writing skills, comprehensive understanding of the DHS SELC process, Section 508 Accessibility Testing, Test Automation, performance and stress testing, integrated financial system testing, and the ability to handle multiple tasking as assigned.


Qualifications


Primary Job Duties: 

Job Duty 1 - Large Scale System Test Engineering for Data warehouse project - 5%

Job Duty 2 - Use Case, Test Case and Test Specification Preparation and Execution - 5%

Job Duty 3 - Test Plan and Test Result Documentation - 5%

Job Duty 4 - Automated Test Case Development and Execution - 80%

Job Duty 5 - Full SELC/SLC Life Cycle Activities - 5%


Required Skills:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science,/Engineering (or related discipline) or equivalent engineering experience 

System Lifecycle Development (SELC/SLC) familiarity - (2-4 years)

Test Engineering experience in Federal procurements (2-4 years)

Test case creation, testing documentation development (2-4 years)

Proficiency with writing SQL for backend testing (1+years)

Selenium test script engineering (2-4 years)


Preferred Skills

Automated test script generation experience - 2-4 years

Performance test script generation experience with Java 2-4 years
