Requirements
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The physical demands described below are representative of those that must be met by a corporation driver to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
Corporation drivers are required to operate vehicles in a safe manner in accordance with local, state, and federal laws.
Must successfully complete a physical performance test and an on-board performance evaluation each year.
Must be able to operate passenger restraints, including wheelchair tie downs, for disabled and special needs students.
Qualification: Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. The corporation will assist with additional requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be 24 years of age or older.
Must possess a valid Indiana operator's license with good driving record.
Must have use of hands, arms, feet, legs, eyes, and ears. Be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Must be able to obtain Indiana Department of Education yellow card certification
Must be able to obtain a DOE physical examination certificate
EDUCATION:
High School diploma, GED, or related experience and training is preferred, but not required.
