Your Role

The Performance Marketing Lead is a versatile, hands-on operator who partners across our growth org to drive efficient customer acquisition. They work cross-functionally across performance marketing channels and the broader marketing team to execute campaigns, support strategic initiatives, and help scale what's working from paid social to SEM to SMS/Email. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in collaborative environments, brings strong opinions backed by data, and is energized by working across multiple channels rather than being siloed in one.

 We are looking for someone who is hyper-analytical and data-obsessed, with a positive, entrepreneurial spirit. The ideal candidate can assist in day to day management and execution as well as help own the performance & strategy of paid media channels (paid social, SEM, email/SMS, etc) while working with multiple stakeholders. 

The Performance Marketing Lead reports to the VP of Growth and will work cross-functionally within the organization to further expand performance marketing efforts, strategy, and optimization. 

Responsibilities and Duties 

  • Contribute to performance marketing strategy: bring fresh perspective and identify untapped opportunities to drive customer & revenue growth while achieving CAC & scale targets
  • Build, optimize, and manage strategy for campaigns in Meta, Google, TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat, and other paid channels
  • Test campaign structure, creative, and data-driven campaign strategies to continuously improve and refine performance
  • Efficiently use analytics tools (GA4, Shopify, Claude) to track KPIs, develop actionable insights and present findings to stakeholders
  • Stay close to platform changes, ad format updates, and industry trends, and share learnings across the team.
  • Provide flexible bandwidth across channels so the team can move faster, test more, and respond to opportunities as they emerge.
  • Partner with creative, retention, and e-commerce to build tactics, creatives, and UX improvements that drive higher AOV/LTV & CVR
  • Consider omni-channel impact of performance marketing efforts and utilize these insights to direct performance marketing strategy 

Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience:
    • Experience in a Direct Response CPG Brand whose majority of revenue comes from eCommerce
    • 3-5+ years required experience in a Performance Marketing, managing a high volume of campaigns and/or channels
    • Expertise in Meta with knowledge or high level of interest in all performance marketing channels
    • Data-driven with strong Excel, analytical skills, and proficiency with Google Analytics required
    • Strong, clear, timely communicator who tailors the message and cadence to the audience
    • Budgetary experience including proven optimization for strong CPA/CAC goals required
  • Interpersonal:
    • Strong leadership & communication skills: listen, mentor, and teach by example
    • Ability to manage multiple moving pieces
    • Strong time management and prioritization skills
    • Adaptable to learning new social platforms and advertising technologies
    • Thoughtful and self-reflective, willingness to learn

    • Excitement for startups and building from the ground up
  • Additional Preferred Experience and Skills:
    • Startup and/or e-commerce experience is a plus
    • Experience navigating healthcare or restricted advertising spaces is a plus
    • Experience with Claude and performance report automation/dashboard creation is a plus

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Hours and Compensation

The anticipated base compensation range for this role will be $110,000 - $130,000 annually. Compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and local market rates.
