Job description

The Leadership Development Coordinator creates, manages, facilitates and executes organizational development activities designed to strengthen leadership capability, supports succession planning, and fosters continuous growth. Responsibilities include assessing leadership development needs, coaching team members and leaders, facilitating leadership development programs and workshops, and implementing initiatives to build leadership effectiveness and organizational readiness. Evaluates outcomes to support a strong leadership pipeline and long-term organizational success.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, leadership development, business administration or a related field is required. 
  • Master’s degree in human resources, leadership development or business administration preferred. 
  • Leadership coaching certification is desirable. 
  • Minimum of 7 years of related experience in leadership training is required. 
  • Demonstrated experience in change management, leadership development and succession planning is required. 
  • Corporate and executive leadership development experience preferred.
  • Crucial Learning certification preferred. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Partner on the development and execution of a comprehensive leadership development strategy integrating learning, leadership development, succession planning and talent initiatives with hospital strategic priorities.
  • Lead the design, implementation and evaluation of leadership development, training, and leadership programs supporting operational excellence, engagement, and leadership effectiveness.
  • Conduct needs assessments to identify development opportunities and guide targeted learning and leadership development solutions, driving results in measurable outcomes.
  • Operationalize Woman’s Leading with Impact campaign through leadership onboarding, competency development, performance expectations, succession planning, and ongoing leader education.
  • Drive and support succession planning process in conjunction with human resources.
  • Lead and sustain Woman’s Crucial Learning initiatives, or similar initiatives, including programs such as Crucial Conversations and Crucial Accountability. Coordinate and facilitate training efforts, reinforcing practical application within leadership and team development strategies.
  • Design and maintain high-potential development programs designed to prepare team members for future leadership and promotion opportunities.
  • Create and coordinate new leader orientation plans for newly hired or promoted leaders, supporting successful transition, engagement and leadership effectiveness.
  • Partner with human resources and hospital leadership to develop and implement individualized development plans, leadership assessments, and feedback processes, including 360 assessments. Analyze development and assessment data to support growth and leader development outcomes.
  • Champion a culture of continuous learning, inclusion, accountability and leadership excellence by promoting talent development, aligning leadership development opportunities with organizational values and strategic initiatives.

Pay Range: 

  • Salaried; Exempt position
  • $69,000 - $110,000
  • Compensation commensurate with experience
