Farm & Forge is redefining athletic development by bringing together world-class coaching, education, performance training, and community on one integrated campus.
Opening in November 2026, our new Strength & Conditioning Center will serve as the operational hub for strength & conditioning, recovery, personal training, group fitness, physical therapy, and member wellness. The approximately 80,000-square-foot facility will feature state-of-the-art strength training equipment, a 13,500-square-foot indoor turf, recovery services, food & beverage, golf simulators, martial arts programming, locker rooms, and a full-sized outdoor football field. Future expansion plans include additional wellness amenities as the campus continues to grow.
We're seeking an experienced General Manager to build, lead, and operate this flagship facility while delivering an exceptional experience for athletes, members, families, and guests.

About the role
The General Manager is responsible for the overall operation, financial performance, member experience, and daily execution of the Strength & Conditioning Center (Building X). This individual will oversee all operational aspects of the facility, ensuring the building runs efficiently while delivering a world-class experience for athletes, members, parents, and guests.
The General Manager will work in close partnership with the Director of Strength & Conditioning, who is responsible for programming, coaching methodology, and athlete development. Together, they will ensure the center operates as a seamless, high-performing environment.
This role will also collaborate extensively with the Tennis and Education departments to support the full-time academy experience while helping establish the center as a premier destination for adult memberships, community programming, and athletic performance.
What you'll do
Facility Operations
  • Lead the daily operation of the Strength & Conditioning Center.
  • Ensure the facility is consistently clean, organized, safe, and operating at the highest standard.
  • Develop and maintain operational policies, procedures, and service standards.
  • Coordinate preventative maintenance, repairs, vendor relationships, and facility improvements with the Facilities team.
  • Oversee daily building readiness, opening and closing procedures, and operational logistics

Business Operations
Oversee the operational performance and daily execution of services housed within the facility, including:
  • Front Desk & Member Services
  • Strength & Conditioning operations
  • Personal Training
  • Group Fitness
  • Physical Therapy
  • Recovery Services
  • Food & Beverage
  • Gold Simulator operations
  • Marital Arts & Wrestling (Dojo)
  • Locker Rooms
  • Camps & Clinics
  • Football Field scheduling and operations
  • Billing and facility scheduling

While the General Manager oversees the business and operational aspects of these services, programming and coaching leadership remain with the appropriate program leaders.
Partnership with Strength & Conditioning Leadership
  • Partner closely with the Associate Director of Human Performance Training to support daily programming and athlete operations.
  • Coordinate scheduling, staffing logistics, equipment needs, facility usage, and operational support.
  • Ensure coaches and staff have the resources needed to deliver exceptional programming.
  • Remove operational barriers so the coaching team can remain focused on athlete development and performance.

Financial & Business Performance
  • Develop and manage the facility's operating budget in partnership with Finance and executive leadership, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Monitor revenue, expenses, labor costs, and overall financial performance.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and increase facility utilization.
  • Oversee billing operations and operational reporting.
  • Support the development and execution of strategies that drive sustainable business growth.

Membership & Guest Experience
  • Help establish and refine the operating model for adult memberships.
  • Create a hospitality-driven culture that delivers an exceptional experience for every member, athlete, parent, and guest.
  • Resolve member concerns professionally and proactively.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve the overall member journey.
  • Ensure consistent service standards across every area of the facility.

Team Leadership
  • Recruit, hire, train, schedule, and develop Building Operations, Front Desk, and Member Services staff.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, professionalism, and exceptional customer service.
  • Conduct performance coaching and performance evaluations for direct reports.
  • Build processes that enable the team to scale alongside the continued growth of Farm & Forge Club.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner closely with Tennis, Education, Facilities, and Executive Leadership to support the full-time academy experience.
  • Coordinate scheduling and facility usage across departments.
  • Support campus-wide events, tournaments, camps, and special programming.
  • Help establish scalable operating systems as Farm & Forge continues to expand.

Qualifications
Required
  • 10-15 years of experience in hospitality, fitness, athletics, recreation, wellness, or other member-based organizations.
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex operations in a hospitality, fitness, athletics, recreation, wellness, or member-based environment.
  • Experience managing budgets, staffing, scheduling, and daily business operations.
  • Proven ability to build processes and lead teams in a fast-paced, growing organization.
  • Demonstrated passion for developing youth talent and creating environments where young athletes can grow both on and off the field of play.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to balance operational excellence and exceptional customer service.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working in an entrepreneurial environment where priorities evolve, and leaders are expected to be hands-on.

  • Experience opening a new facility, business, or major operational expansion.
  • Experience in sports performance, fitness, hospitality, country clubs, or multi-use recreational facilities.
