A client is looking for 6-10 years of experience. Provides assessments of technical and operational practices based on leading industry standards specific to the requested technology.
Complete Description:
The client seeks to hire a Data Analyst resource to provide data analysis, Business Objects Management & optimization, and agency data dashboard configuration, development, and maintenance. Candidate must have a minimum of 10 years overall in Data Analyst experience
The role of the Data Analyst is to provide data analysis support for the client, which is located within the client. This is a highly skilled position and familiarity with data reporting, visualization, and sharing, is critical.
The position will require the resources to produce data analysis, with a focus on driver, vehicle, and customer transaction data sets, and to produce dashboards and data sets that allow leadership to communicate agency performance trends to stakeholders, and the public. The Data Analyst shall have knowledge and expertise with MicroStrategy, Tableau, and Business Objects. The role will involve working closely across multiple administrations within DMV, and closely work with the Data Management Team. The Data Analyst should possess extremely strong written and verbal communication skills and be able to address both business and technical audiences.
Skills:
• Experience analyzing info and statistical data to prepare reports and studies for professional users. Required 6 Years
• Experience working with government agency performance data. Required 6 Years
• MicroStrategy, Business Objects, Tableau (or similar platforms). Required 6 Years
• Strong communication skills - must be able to communicate (written/oral) complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders-incl. public. Required 6 Years
• Experience planning, organizing, and conducting research in various areas. Required 6 Years
• As SME in complex enterprise-level projects. Required 6 Years
• Master's degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience. Required
