What is a Per Diem Weekend RN?

A Per Diem Weekend RN is a registered nurse who works on an as-needed basis, typically covering weekend shifts. Unlike full-time or part-time staff, per diem nurses do not have a set schedule and may work varying hours depending on the healthcare facility's needs.
