Our long-term care facility is seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursing Assistant (STNA). The Nursing Assistant (STNA) is responsible for providing direct care to residents and assisting the clinical team in providing activities of daily living. Â
Nursing Assistant (STNA) Key Duties
·        Serve a vital role on our nursing team by acting as our resident’s main care giver providing necessary support for all activities of daily living.
·        Ensure timely notification of residents change of status to a licensed nurse for further direction.
·        Successfully assist all responsible residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL’s), feeding, bathing, dressing, transferring, ambulation, personal hygiene, and toileting.
·        Perform other job-related duties as they become required.
 Nursing Assistant (STNA) Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Minimum Ability to obtain and maintain State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) Certification required.
- Ability to communicate both verbally and non-verbally requires.
- Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm, as well as be willing to manage residents based on maturity level and factuality.
