Job description

Northfield Mount Hermon (NMH) seeks experienced nurses to join our per diem pool. Looking for extra shifts, and a generous shift differential? We want to hear from you!
About NMH
Northfield Mount Hermon, an independent boarding and day school located in the beautiful Connecticut River Valley of Massachusetts, was founded on the principles of inclusivity and community - values that are as important today as they were at its founding in 1879.
A Day in the Life
Our nurses play a vital role in maintaining the health and well-being of the student community. They assess and treat students, administer medications according to guidelines, and ensure all records are accurate and current. This position requires excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. A proactive attitude and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of students and staff is essential.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • RN or LPN degree and current Massachusetts license.
  • Previous experience in emergency, adolescent, or family medicine preferred.
  • Ability to administer medications according to medical guidelines.
  • Strong organizational, written, and communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively.
  • Attention to detail and self motivation.
