Job Summary: The Per Diem Licensed Clinician will provide evidence-based behavioral health services to clients. Services include intake, assessments, diagnoses, treatment planning, ongoing intervention, and discharge planning and implementation. The clinician will also perform basic administrative tasks including: record keeping and chart auditing and attend meetings and supervision as required. These tasks will be carried out within the agency’s policy of confidentiality and with respect for the clients’ rights.
Essential Responsibilities
  • Provide evidence-based counseling services to children, families and/or adults.
  • Attend meetings and trainings; ongoing attainment of knowledge and skills, to support client intervention and meet licensure requirements.
  • Meet agency expectations of clinical quantitative and evaluative standards.
  • Maintain accurate client records in an electronic health record database and complete administrative paperwork in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
  • Master’s Degree or Doctoral Degree in a mental health discipline
  • Licensed by the State of Florida. (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, Licensed Psychologist)
  • Training and/or certification in evidence-based modalities.
  • Experience in working with children, adolescents, and/or adults; couples and family therapy experience is a plus.
  • Ethical decision making and strong clinical judgement.
  • Ability to collaborate with other disciplines and services.
  • Intermediate computer skills, Microsoft Word, Outlook Calendar, Electronic Health Record systems
