Job Summary: The Per Diem Licensed Clinician will provide evidence-based behavioral health services to clients. Services include intake, assessments, diagnoses, treatment planning, ongoing intervention, and discharge planning and implementation. The clinician will also perform basic administrative tasks including: record keeping and chart auditing and attend meetings and supervision as required. These tasks will be carried out within the agencyโ€™s policy of confidentiality and with respect for the clientsโ€™ rights.
Essential Responsibilities
  • Provide evidence-based counseling services to children, families and/or adults.
  • Attend meetings and trainings; ongoing attainment of knowledge and skills, to support client intervention and meet licensure requirements.
  • Meet agency expectations of clinical quantitative and evaluative standards.
  • Maintain accurate client records in an electronic health record database and complete administrative paperwork in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
  • Masterโ€™s Degree or Doctoral Degree in a mental health discipline
  • Licensed by the State of Florida. (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, Licensed Psychologist)
  • Training and/or certification in evidence-based modalities.
  • Experience in working with children, adolescents, and/or adults; couples and family therapy experience is a plus.
  • Ethical decision making and strong clinical judgement.
  • Ability to collaborate with other disciplines and services.
  • Intermediate computer skills, Microsoft Word, Outlook Calendar, Electronic Health Record systems
