Job description

Overview

PepsiCo Labs is the Tech Venturing & Innovation arm of PepsiCo. We are a small and nimble team that works globally across the PepsiCo organization to identify strategic business priorities, bring external technology innovation perspectives and enable rapid pilots to prove the technology and business value to enable scale up of the most impactful capabiities.

Within PepsiCo, we partner closely with business, function and transformation leaders to focus on the biggest innovation priorities. Externally, we work with a broad ecosystem of Venture Capital firms, other corporate innovation groups and the tech startup ecosystem to identify the leading emerging technologies, enable rapid pilots and systematic scale ups.

As a Tech Venturing & Innovation Associate Manager, Commercial, you will need to be at the forefront of cutting-edge technologies, especially those relevant to Sales & GTM functions. You will support the innovation process, from discovery of needs, to scouting, piloting, and scaling across PepsiCo.


Responsibilities
  • Lead cross-functionally to support the execution of strategic tech innovation programs
    • Build project deliverables in partnership with project leaders
    • Develop briefs for new capabilities
    • Drive the startup evaluation and selection process through logical and analytical thinking with fact-based insights
    • Lead the rapid pilot onboarding process and own startup vendor management
  • Lead the startup use case research, analysis & evaluation of solution fit to use case
    • Build use case assessment criteria to systematically evaluate startup technologies & capabilities based on requirements
    • Execute solution evaluation
    • Engage & coordinate cross functional SMEs input to assessment criteria
  • Support pilot planning and execution
    • Develop pilot charter with clear objectives, scope and aligned KPIs
    • Support pilot execution and tracking
  • Maintain an external mindset, including staying on top of consumer, competitive, and macroeconomic / technology trends
  • Contribute to capability building for the entire PepsiCo Labs function (e.g., Training, Knowledge Management, Process documentation, etc.)
  • Manage and coordinate logistics for sector, functional and Labs program meetings with internal and external participants

Compensation and Benefits:

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $127,500 - $155,000.
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 10% of annual salary paid out annually.
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.
