Job description

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced GitHub Copilot Lead to drive adoption across our organization's technology landscape. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical leadership, with a focus on legacy systems (60-70% Java, .NET, C/C++, scripting) and COTS integration.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct ground-level requirements analysis with development teams to identify Copilot adoption opportunities.
  • Lead end-to-end Copilot feature deployment and custom agent creation within quarterly milestones.
  • Develop adoption strategies specifically for Java, .NET, C/C++, and scripting environments, build in legacy frameworks.
  • Interface with technical teams, architects, and management to drive change management.
  • Define requirements and oversee creation of custom Copilot agents for COTS and legacy systems.
  • Establish KPIs and measure adoption success across diverse technology stacks.
  • Design and implement organization-wide Copilot training programs.

Required Technical Skills:
  • 8+ years in technical leadership roles.
  • Deep experience with Java, .NET, C/C++ environments.
  • GitHub Copilot adoption and custom agent implementation experience.
  • Strong consultative and communication skills.
  • Project management expertise.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Nice-to-have skill 1: Experience with scripting environments.
  • Nice-to-have skill 2: Knowledge of COTS integration.
  • Soft skill: Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Soft skill: Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
