The opportunity:

Our People Operations team is the backbone of Flexport's employee experience, ensuring every team member feels supported and empowered. As a People Operations Coordinator at our Lewisville Fulfillment Center, you'll be a key point of contact for our on-site workforce, working closely with employees, managers, and the broader People team. You'll directly contribute to a seamless employee journey, from onboarding to daily support, managing critical HR processes like timekeeping and general inquiries. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the day-to-day experience of our operational teams, solving challenges with empathy and precision in a dynamic, rapidly growing environment.

You will:

  • Provide essential Tier 1 support for all people-related inquiries at the Lewisville Fulfillment Center, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.
  • Manage and process employee lifecycle events, including onboarding, training logistics, and offboarding procedures.
  • Administer time and attendance records, processing timesheet adjustments using physical timeclocks and HRIS software.
  • Maintain accurate employee data and ensure compliance with all internal policies and external regulations.
  • Collaborate with People Partners and other HR specialists to escalate complex issues and improve operational workflows.

You should have:

  • 1+ year of experience in a People Operations, HR Coordinator, or similar administrative support role.
  • The ability to work a Back Half schedule (Wed-Sat 10:30am-8:30pm )
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems and timekeeping software.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume inquiries with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build trust and rapport.
  • A 'compliance first' attitude to keep our regulators happy and enthusiastic about Flexport since we operate in a heavily regulated industry.
