Join our Talent Analytics team within the Talent Technology Center of Excellence. Here, you will be instrumental in leveraging predictive analytics to transform how we understand and manage talent across the organization.

As a Senior Analyst, you will not only handle technical analysis and data modeling but also shape the future of our analytics capabilities by spearheading projects that forecast trends and outcomes.

What You Will Do

  • Leveraging HR systems and database tools, develop and deliver ad-hoc, recurring, and on-demand / self-service analysis solutions.
  • Working with Power BI to build and maintain self-service dashboards or to craft visualizations for stakeholder presentations.
  • Advanced Predictive Analytics & Modeling: Contribute to predictive models using machine learning and natural language processing techniques. Your work will directly contribute to strategic decision-making and enhancing our predictive analytics capabilities.
  • Proactive Insight Generation: As a Talent Analytics Sr. Analyst it will be up to you to leverage your analysis skills to provide proactive insights to provide the business. The key to success in this role is your ability to break down complex concepts and tell a story from an analysis.
  • Strategic Project Management: Designing, estimating, and personally executing an analysis plan based on requirements you gather from key stakeholders. In this role you will have the opportunity to lead and manage multiple strategic projects that have a real impact on business outcomes.
  • Innovative Tool Implementation: Work closely with the Talent Systems and Technology teams to drive the adoption of cutting-edge analytics tools, optimizing them to meet evolving business needs.
  • Problem Solving: Use analytics to solve key talent business questions and provide support for core functions by incorporating proactive outreach on trends and external benchmarking.

Responsibilities

  • Using HR systems and database tools to develop and deliver ad hoc, recurring, and on-demand / self-service analysis and data solutions.
  • Independently or with a team, exploring and implementing new ways to take on data or technical challenges.
  • Designing, estimating, and personally executing an analysis plan based on a high-level functional issue description or business question.
  • Describing your own analysis and the insights you draw from it to others in HR or the business.
  • Recommending business process or system improvements to reporting capabilities and influence system owners to incorporate changes.
  • Peer reviewing SQL code/reporting and performing data validation as related to data acquisition for analytic purposes.
  • Ensuring products are delivered that are audience appropriate, adhering to HR standards for data sharing and meeting the client's need accurately.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Management Information Systems, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering or similar from an accredited college/university (Required)
  • Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Human Resources, Operations Research, Data Science or similar from an accredited college/university (Preferred)

Technical/Soft Skills

Required:

  • Minimum of 3 years using data transformation tools such as Alteryx
  • Minimum of 3 years in using SQL to query large datasets
  • Minimum of 2 years of solutioning, preparing, and visualizing data for non-technical stakeholders using Power BI (report creation, DAX, power query, and data modeling)

Preferred:

  • Experience using RStudio or Python for automation or data processing such as statistical modeling, machine learning, or data mining
  • Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving ability
  • Excellent communication, relationship skills and a strong team player
  • An understanding of core Human Resources functions, typical workforce management processes and related data
  • Experience in HR related systems: Workday, Cornerstone, Qualtrics, VNDLY, ServiceNow
  • Experience with other presentations tools such as PowerPoint and Visio
  • Experience defining, structuring, and documenting data
  • Experience with process documentation

At RSM, an employee's pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences, performance, and skills for their current role. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.

Compensation Range: $81,900 - $139,700

Individualsselected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
