Job description

As a Specialty Pharmacy, we do more than just provide medicine. We work as part of a coordinated care team partnered with community-based Doctors and other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients with complex health conditions get the medications they need in a timely fashion and are able to follow their treatment plans. Our personalized services include: onsite patient consultation, expedited delivery, medication therapy management and much more.

We are seeking a highly motivated Pharmacist to support and manage all functions of daily pharmacy operations.

Job Duties / Responsibilities:

* Provide exceptional customer service to all patients and healthcare professionals

* Help maintain a clean & organized work environment

* Take and enter prescription orders into the pharmacy software system

* Dispense prescription medications and maintain accurate records of all prescriptions dispensed

* Verify preparation of medications dispensed

* MTM Outcomes

* Patient Counseling

* Comprehensive Drug Utilization Review and Monitoring for Specialty Drugs and Advanced Disease States

* Complies with ALL state and federal laws

* Other Duties as assigned by the management team

Required Qualifications:

* Minimum 1+ years of Pharmacy Management experience

* Minimum 2+ years experience as a Retail Pharmacist

* Minimum 2+ years Prime RX / Micromerchant experience

* Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm D degree

* Must have an active pharmacy license in the state of New York

* Not on the DEA, OIG, GSA Excluded Parties List

* Immunization Certification

* Strong attention to detail

* No prior or pending felony charges / convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances

* Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
