Rate: $45.32/hour

Location: Westborough, MA — with community-based work

MAB Community Services is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support individuals enrolled in our ABI/MFP Waiver Programs as they work toward greater independence and quality of life.

What You’ll Do
  • Provide physical therapy services focused on mobility, safety, functional independence, and quality of life
  • Implement individualized treatment plans based on participant goals, needs, and interests
  • Collaborate with participants, families, caregivers, service coordinators, and the interdisciplinary team
  • Select and adapt therapeutic activities to support physical and cognitive abilities
  • Train and educate direct care staff to reinforce therapeutic goals and promote carryover
  • Recommend adaptive equipment and environmental modifications and assist with letters of medical necessity as appropriate
  • Provide protocols and training for new or updated equipment in residential settings
  • Complete timely clinical documentation and billing required for reimbursement
  • Participate in team meetings, trainings, and weekly supervision
  • Mentor students and interns as assigned
  • PTs may provide clinical guidance and mentorship to PTAs as appropriate
QualificationsPhysical Therapist (PT):
  • Current Massachusetts Physical Therapist license in good standing
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience preferred
  • Experience with individuals with Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) preferred
  • Experience in outpatient, home care, rehabilitation, or community-based therapy preferred
Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA):
  • Current Massachusetts Physical Therapist Assistant license in good standing
  • Experience in outpatient, home care, rehabilitation, or community-based therapy preferred
  • Experience working with individuals with Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) is a plus
