Pega Developer

Location: Austin, TX/Sunnyvale, CA (Onsite)

Job Description:

8+ years of hands-on experience in Pega BPM, with a focus on CSSA/CLSA level architecture and high-scale implementations.

5+ years of professional Java/J2EE coding to build custom applications and integrations.

Proven track record of deep Pega customization. Experience in  Store/Retail applications (e.g., custom UI components, complex state management, and offline capabilities) is preferred.

Hands-on experience migrating internal Pega services to external Apache Kafka (Stream) and OpenSearch/Elasticsearch (Search) clusters.

Architecting robust REST/SOAP integrations and managing complex data transformations between Pega and legacy retail systems.

Tuning application performance and memory management for high-concurrency environments.

Enforcing strict Pega Guardrails while maintaining high-quality Java code standards through peer reviews.

Designing scalable Class Structures and Data Models that support multi-layered business logic.

Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines (Deployment Manager/Jenkins).

 Ability to lead technical troubleshooting and provide architectural guidance for mission-critical store platforms.
