Registered Nurse – PACU / Pediatric

Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts | Variable Start Time

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide post-anesthesia care to pediatric patients in the PACU setting
  • Rotate to Pre-Op as needed based on unit staffing and patient care demands
  • Monitor and assess patients recovering from anesthesia, identifying and responding to changes in condition
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient transitions
  • Float to other facilities within the health system as required by assignment needs
Required Qualifications
  • Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
  • Minimum 2 years of PACU or relevant clinical experience
  • BSN degree required
  • Prior travel nursing experience within the last 12 months
  • Ability to float to other facilities within the health system
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • CPAN (Certified Post Anesthesia Nurse) certification
  • Prior experience in a teaching hospital environment
